I am a Butterfly

I am an egg at first.
I turned into a caterpillar.
I eat and eat and eat.
I grew very fat.
I started to shed my skin, gross!
Then I went into a pupa.
I was in there for a long time…
I came out soon after that!
I was a butterfly!
I was black, yellow, and orange.
Ahhhh! What if I am ugly?
I am not ugly.
Everyone would be staring at me if I was ugly.
My wings are crumpled for a few days.
After a couple of weeks, my wings were straight.
